On one hand it’s hard to believe it’s already been a year since Erin and I started dating, but on the other it’s hard to believe it’s only been a year, since it’s felt like we’ve known each other forever since our very first date. In the past year we’ve gone to 15 states together, shot nine weddings and elopements together, drank at least 500 cups of coffee together (and that’s probably being conservative), found a church home, haven’t fought once, and have fallen more and more in love with each other every day.
I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love this girl. She’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me and I’m so thankful for how well she loves me and continuously pushes me to better my relationship with Christ.
To celebrate one year together we took a mini trip to the Catskills in Woodstock, N.Y. and pretty much unplugged for a couple days. It was nice to sit around drinking a bunch of coffee (shout out to Aperture Coffee for that), played a whole lot of Monopoly, took a plethora of photos, did some reading (we’re currently walking through The Explicit Gospel by Matt Chandler together), and of course mostly enjoyed spending quality time together disconnected from the world.
I love you, Erin, and can’t wait for a lifetime of loving you!
